Lion Bill Hooten Irving Noonday Lions Texas

LPCCI is very proud to have our very first trustee in the state of Texas!

We have been working to develop new LPCCI contacts in conjunction with the development of the new Canine Companions for Independence South Central Region in Irving, Texas at the Baylor Scott & White Health Kinkeade Campus, which is scheduled to formally open in the fall of 2015.

Recently, Lion Bill Hooten, of the Irving Noonday Lions Club has agreed to act as our contact in Texas. Bill is a 40 year Lion, who knows the ropes and has many contacts within Lions as well as the local community. He has already been working with Mikell Bollinger, the new CCI South Central Region Executive Director by helping to establish contacts with the local Lions Clubs.

Lion Bill is an insurance agent in Irving. He has three children and three grandchildren and has been with State Farm since 1975.

We look forward to this new challenge. We'll need new puppy raisers and supporters in Texas to fulfill the requirements of the new CCI training center at Baylor Scott and White Health's Kinkeade Campus. Lions can help tremendously and Lion Bill Hooten will help us to coordinate our efforts.

Welcome to the LPCCI family, Lion Bill. We're very pleased to have you!
